AUSTRALIAN OWNED MOOSE SCOOPS FIVE AWARDS AT TOY FAIR!

Australian-owned toy company, Moose Enterprises, has cleaned up at the Australian Toy Association Awards winning five of the fifteen most sought after accolades in the toy industry.

Moose’s Bakugan Battle Brawlers battled its way to the top, taking out the overall Licensed Product of the Year. The company wiped the floor within the licensed category with the Bakugan Battle Pack winning Boys Toy of the Year and its Disney Princess Beados Studio winning Girls Toy of the Year.

Moose also took home the prize for Toy of the Year, Craft Activity with the Plazmo Bug Creator, and scooped the coveted Australian Development Award for its Magic Fabric Creation Studio.

Winners were announced this morning (Friday 20 March) at the Australian Toy and Hobby Fair in Melbourne. The awards are judged across three criteria: uniqueness and innovation, play appeal and sales potential, and is awarded from a shortlist of winning toys across six product categories including Boys, Girls, Pre-School, Outdoor, Games and Arts & Craft.

Paul Solomon , Director at Moose Enterprise, acknowledged the significance of the win for an Australian-owned business. “These five awards are wonderful recognition of the hard work our great team at Moose has put in, and we are very proud of what we have achieved.

“Our Beados, Plazmo Bug Creator and Magic Fabric products have all been designed and developed by Moose in Australia, and to win such coveted awards against tough competition from large international brands is a tremendous accomplishment.”
